Updates and Funnies

Podling had her first Dr appointment yesterday. She has gained 2lbs and is up to 8lbs+ and gained one inch and is now 21inches long! The nurse asked what we were feeding her! LOL I knew she had grown because some of her newborn onsies were no longer big on her and were actually getting a little tight. She can also fill out her 0-3m outfits better now…I can’t wait to dress her up and take her out! LOL

In Other News…

Babyhead was more traumatized by my stay in the hospital than we thought. He wakes up from nightmares and in the morning telling me he missed me in the hospital. Thursday I had to go to my own Dr check up so Dr T could check my incision. The plan was to have FIL watch BH while we were there as he doesn’t do well when we have to wait too long in the office, and being an Obstetrician sometimes you have to wait a long time if he gets called to an emergency (which he was and we had to wait 2hrs).

Well, right before we were to leave FIL calls and says BH wanted to come home to mommy and that he was crying. He said all of a sudden BH just started crying and saying he wanted me. So, of course he had to bring BH home and it took a while to calm him down. On the way to the Dr’s office BH kept saying he had to come with me…I think he was scared I was going to the Dr and not coming home like last time. I think it might take a while to get him to understand that I am not going to go back to the hospital anytime soon and that he doesn’t have to worry. It kinda makes me sad.

And now a funny…

I usually don’t blog about things that you can find all over the blog sphere…but I have to plug this one.  After reading a few entries about it I decided to check it out.  I am talking about Joss Whedon’s Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog.  It is freaking funny.  It has Doogie Howser as Dr Horrible who is trying to get into the Evil League of Evil and Malcom Reynolds (from Firefly/Serenity) who is the Hero.  It is too funny…and a musical.  I didn’t know Doogie could sing that well…
